This research project is supported by the Fondazione C.M. Lerici. It consists of the technological augmentation (by means of Wireless Sensors Networks) of three musical instruments of the Italian tradition: the ghironda (hurdy-gurdy), the zampogna bagpipe, and the chitarra battente guitar. In particular, the research on the augmentation of the hurdy-gurdy was part of my master degree project in Electronic Music at the Royal College of Music of Stockholm.
